Are you an A.L.I.E.N?
What is an Alien? Webster's (Adjective) Belonging to, or owing allegiance to another country or nation. (Noun) A foreign-born resident who has not been naturualized and is still subject to or a citizen of a foreign country. Broadly; A foreign born citizen. We are a foreign-born citizen into this world when we give our lives to Jesus. When He comes into our hearts, we are now in this world, but not of this world. So we become an Alien to this world. With this teaching I would like to show you the authority we have as an A.L.I.E.N. to this world and a citizen of the Kingdom of God. 1.) AUTHORITY (Power) Shalat A prime root; to dominate, i.e. Govern, by implication to permit;(bear,have)rule, have dominion, give(have)power. A.) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:12(KJV) 1.) The key word here is received. 2.) Jesus has already gave us the power. 3.) All we have to do is to believe and receive. B.) We have the authority or power to use the name of Jesus. 1.) 23-And in that day ye shall ask me nothing, verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsover ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it you. 24-Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:23-24 C.) But, to many believers refuse to use their God given right. 1.) 1-This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2-For men shall be lovers of their ownselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3-Without naturual affection, trucebreakers, false accusers incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4-Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5-Having a form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away. 2 Tim. 3:1-5 (KJV) 2.) LOVE (Agape)-Unconditonal Love, i.e.-Affection or Benevolence; Specially (Plural) A love-feast (Feast of) Charity, Dear, Love. A.) 7-Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8-He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9-In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10-Herenin is love, not that we loved God, But that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11-Beloved, If God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12-No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us. 13-Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. 1 John 4:7-13 (KJV) 1.) We must love unconditionally. 2.) We must look past peoples faults. 3.) How dare we not love if God is love. 4.) Love explains; A.)Why God creates. B.)Why God Cares. C.)Why we are free to choose. D.)Why we receive eternal life. 3.) INSTRUCTION Musar Reproof, warning or instruction; also restraint; Bond, chastening Chastisement, check, correction, discipline, doctrine, instruction, rebuke. A.) 16-All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; 17-That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Tim. 3:15-17 (KJV) 1.) We have been given God's Word to teach us how to live our lives. 2.) To correct us. 3.) To teach us how to live in right standing with God. 4.) So that we can be ready and fully equipped for the work of our God. 4.) EDIFIED oikodomeo To be a house-builder, i.e. construct or confirm; build, edify, embolden. A.) 19-Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Romans 14:19 (KJV) 1.) It is our esponsibility to edify one another. 2.) To lift each other up when the enemy attacks. 3.) God through His Word lifts us up. 5.) NOTARIZED (SEALED) Sphragis A signet (as fencing in or protecting from misappropriation); By implication the stamp impressed (as a mark of privacy, or genuineness), literal of figurative: SEAL. A.) 19-Neverthless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are His. And let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Tim. 2:19 (KJV) 1.) When we know who we are in Christ we will stand immovable. 2.) We belong to Jesus. 3.) Abraham knew whose he was. A.) 11-And he received the sign of circumcision, A seal of the righteousness of the faith which he might be the Father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also. Romans 4:11 (KJV) So step forward today and take your rightful place. You and I are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. No weapon formed against us will prosper. Know whose you are today.
